I’m Mia, a fashion writer, editor, and stylist with a passion for the stories behind the clothes. My work explores the intersection of luxury fashion, craftsmanship, and culture, focusing on the people, ideas, and creative processes that shape the industry.
I recently became Editorial Director of Virgin Rogue, a bespoke bridalwear brand. Alongside Paloma, the founder and designer, I create editorial content that highlights the process of a custom garment, the perspective of the Virgin Rogue bride, and the evolving landscape of bridal fashion. From long-form features and interviews to trend analysis and brand storytelling, I aim to create work that is both visually compelling and deeply informed.
Alongside my editorial work, my experience in luxury retail has given me a firsthand understanding of consumer behavior, merchandising, and the relationship between fashion and personal identity. Working directly with clients has shaped the way I approach writing, allowing me to connect industry insights with the real ways people experience clothing.
My writing is driven by curiosity. I’m interested in the craftsmanship behind a garment, the cultural significance of a trend, and the personal stories that often go untold. Whether I’m covering a couture collection, interviewing an independent designer, or examining the future of luxury, my goal is to make fashion feel thoughtful, accessible, and worth discussing.
When I’m not writing, you’ll likely find me discovering emerging brands, exploring vintage shops, or researching the history behind the designers and collections that continue to influence fashion today.
I’m always open to editorial opportunities, freelance assignments, brand storytelling projects, and creative collaborations.
